Here I am again, back in Los Angeles. It was December 21st and I was headed to pick up Andrew who'd been enjoying time at The Last Bookstore, in downtown L.A. However when I spotted this HUGE Kalanchoe beharensis I had to pull over and snap a couple of photos, after all that's a winter-time houseplant where I come from, here...it's a tree!
Seriously amazing.
My plant is just a little guy who gets to spend summer outside on the patio...
There was a baby in the hellstrip.
A seedling from the mother plant?
There was also an Opuntia tree, in a half barrel. Why not?
And tree sized Euphorbia tirucalli, another plant that for me is just a container plant. Outside in the summer, inside in the winter.
*sigh*...
