Our lunch stop on Saturday of the Garden Fling was at Sorci’s Italian Cafe and the VanLierop Garden Market "Fresh flowers, great plants and found objects for home and garden" in Sumner, WA (about 20 minutes east of I-5 as it works through Tacoma).
Flinger's finishing up their lunch...
... and just relaxing enjoying the great vibe of this place.
Love that 3-tier shelf! (eating Flinger's faces obscured becasue nobody looks good while they're chewing).
In addition to an interesting selection the prices here were fantastic.
I had to rearrange the contents of my car (plant crates that held the Little Prince of Oregon swag haul on the way up, my swag, plants I bought, and another I was hauling for a friend, plus luggage!) to fit in the bench. I may have bought even more if space hadn't been an issue.
There were plants too, and inside the shop (where I didn't take any photos) there were flowers.
I definitely need to add this market to my list of places to stop when I'm in the area. It's a little out of the way for me (off the I-5 corridor) but oh so good!
