During our recent Spokane adventure Andrew and I stopped by to visit my brother Ryan at his new place. I was thrilled to discover he now lives near the Vercler Castle! (original post on the "castle" here, follow up post here).
Unfortunately (but fabulously) foliage now covers a great deal of the structure. If you haven't seen it before I really recommend clicking on the above links.
I stuck to my usual rule about staying on the public right-of-way. No trespassing while photographing.
Those two rather cartoonish structures on poles are new since my last visit.
For what it's worth the city has also required the street-side buildings be lowered... public safety or some such thing.
Still, it's fun to visit...
If only from the street.
