Our doorbell rang around 11:30 yesterday morning, I got to the door in time to see UPS pulling away. There was a small package on the doorstep, addressed to me, from Workman Publishing (the parent company of Timber Press). You guys...it was my book!!! For real! In the flesh, uhm, paper! ![]()

So when will the book be on the shelves and (most importantly these days) shipping from online retailers? January 5th, 2021. Weather Diary, Nov 4: Hi 68, Low 60/ Precip trace
After the shock of holding the book in my hands wore off—and yes, it was a shock, I had no idea it was coming yesterday—I had fun taking a couple of reenactment photos if you will. Cause I'm a dork and I'm not afraid to let you know.![]()
This "sneak peak" might give you the idea the book is all about my garden, but it's not, not by a long shot. I write about two public gardens, ten private, a zoo and two privately owned company gardens—as well as plenty of general garden topics and plant recommendations that include lots of photos from other gardens.
