Wednesday Vignette: more than two of anything is a collection

I live with a person who strives to have as few belongings as possible. He has a box of things from his past and he occasionally goes through it and purges. Our house was built in 1948 and as such the closets are tiny. I have to change out my clothing in the spring and in the fall, the off-season garments and shoes go into storage in the basement. He does not. Everything fits in his closet year round with extra room on the bar. I do not understand this way of being. I'm not a hoarder, but I love a good collection. Maybe that's why visiting Beth Winter's garden is such a treat. This lady is a natural born collector...
