We visited Panayoti Kelaidis' garden as part of the the 2019 Garden Bloggers Fling, when we arrived our buses parked in a lot adjacent to this field. I had to laugh at such a signature Panayoti plant appearing in a field across from his home and garden. It would be like agaves growing in an empty lot next to my house...

Well okay not exactly like. I mean verbascum seed themselves around quite prolifically. Agaves not so much, at least not in Portland, Oregon.
And yes I do think Panayoti had something to do with this...
