I stopped by Trader Joe's to pick up a few things and ended up parking next to a planting island. This is what greeted me when I got out of my car.

I have questions! Are the plastic tubes for watering? Or is there a dungeon under there and these are how air gets down to the prisoners? And what about that burlap? Surely it's not from a burlaped root ball?

I mean the tree wouldn't look this good if there was still burlap around its roots, right?
