Every winter Portland Nursery does a big conifer display at the back of their entry courtyard. It showcases a nice selection of seasonally appropriate plants and hides the rest of the (empty) nursery. It's always well done, but this year was extra fab. They created a sort of "ruins" out of cement blocks, blocks I"m sure they had just laying around the nursery...
It was a dreary day, which actually probably added to the ambiance, although I would never say no to a blue sky.
Isn't it fun?
