We're skipping back to my parents place for this Wednesday's Vignette. As I was grabbing my plants (of course I bought plants while visiting!), to pack-up the car, I spotted a grapevine wreath tucked in a pot of Zantedeschia aethiopica...
It looked purposely placed there, so I asked mom about it.
Turns out she placed the wreath to disguise the white plastic pot the Zantedeschia is growing in (much lighter for carrying into the basement each autumn, she over winters it there, since it's not hardy in Spokane). Mom has nasty allergies so didn't want to use decorative moss to hide the pot. Pretty clever!
