I want to thank everyone who commented (and emailed, and messaged, and chatted in person) with condolences on the loss of our Lila. Your words were so appreciated. To know that so many people understood and shared what we were/are going through made the process a little more bearable.
I've neglected my garden over the last several weeks, it's encouraging to see things carrying on and not seeming to mind (like the fern table, below), but I look forward to easing back into gardening, and blogging. One step at a time, moving forward...
