March Garden Blogger's Bloomday, V2018

It's Bloomday! Not prepared was I. Nonetheless, here's what's blooming in my garden on March 15th...

Arctostaphylos densiflora ‘Harmony’. As if on queue when 'Austin Griffiths' finishes up, this one begins. Can't dissapoint the hummingbirds and the pollinators.

Blueberry blooms! Tastiness will follow.

Daphne x houtteana, sadly there is no fragrance that I could detect. And here's a little tip, make sure there are no bees enjoying the flowers before you lean in to test for fragrance. I didn't get stung, but thought I was going to.

Edgeworthia chrysantha 'Nanjing Gold' is finishing up.

As Edgeworthia chrysantha ‘Akebono’ just gets going.

This is it's most bloomerific year yet.

Euphorbia amygdaloides var. robbiae, thuggish tendencies, but it's well behaved in my garden.

Euphorbia rigida

Still going strong!

Euphorbia x martinii 'Ascot Rainbow'

Just getting started, and already covered with aphids.

Grevillea australis, tiny tiny little flowers.

Grevillea miqueliana, HOT!

Hakea epiglottis, simply covered with yellow squiggles.

The Hellebores are all still blooming, plus Helleborus 'Black Diamond' has finally joined the party (there were more stems, but I cut them to come indoors).

Helleborus NOID, I didn't feel like photographing the other seven assorted blooming Hellebores, so this one is here to represent.

Rosemary NOID

Ceanothus 'Dark Star' is about to burst.

As are the Tulip 'Rococo' bulbs!

That's a wrap on my March Bloomday (my 9th Bloomday post, I had my blog anniversary earlier this week, on March 13th...next year is #10!) visit our meme hostess, May Dreams Gardens, for all the Bloomday links.
